The CP3 stamping tool was designed by Felix Beaudry and Sara Ordonselli and was inspired by Precious Plastic. It was also manufacturing by Thomas Savage. The CP3 tool includes a handle and rod screw with allows the user to add and remove any identification coin.
The plastic identification coin above was made using a CNC machine to outline the recycling symbol and number. In other to stamp any plastic prototype the user needs to heat the coin using a heat gun and it will leave a mark, which shows the type of plastic.
